Community policing meet held at Kaunia Police Station

A community policing meeting was held at the Shayestabad Union Parishad premises on Wednesday, organized by Kaunia Police Station. The meeting was presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Mr. Anisur Rahman.
The meeting raised awareness among everyone by exchanging views on preventing various social crimes including drugs, online gambling, child marriage, eve-teasing, juvenile crime, cybercrime, and overall law and order.
Also present at the event were Assistant Police Commissioner (Kaunia Zone) Mr. Pavitra Kumar Halder, Officer-in-Charge of Kaunia Police Station Sanjit Chandanath, Acting Chairman of Shayestabad Union Parishad, Shamsul Kabir Farhad, Union BNP Convener Harun Or Rashid, local public representatives and people from different classes and professions.
