Mahbub Pial, Faridpur

 A colourful rally and a grand public assembly were held in Faridpur on Tuesday to mark the 48th founding anniversary of the BNP. 

Organized by the district BNP, the vibrant procession kicked off on Tuesday afternoon with the enthusiastic participation of thousands of leaders and activists. Starting from in front of the Faridpur municipality building, the rally paraded through key thoroughfares of the town before concluding at the Janata Bank intersection. Participants carried party flags, banners, and festoons while chanting enthusiastic slogans that resonated across the area.

Chaired by Faridpur Metropolitan BNP Convener A.F.M. Kaiyum Jangi, the rally and subsequent assembly featured Faridpur-3 MP Chowdhury Nayab Yusuf as the chief guest.

The event saw a strong turnout of senior leaders and activists from the party and its associate bodies, including Faridpur District Council Administrator and District BNP Senior Joint Convener Afzal Hossain Khan Palash, District BNP Member Secretary A.K. Kibria Swapan, District BNP Joint Convener Tanvir Chowdhury Rubel, Metropolitan BNP Senior Joint Convener A.B. Siddiqui Mitul, District Jubo Dal Senior Vice-President K.M. Zafar, Metropolitan Jubo Dal President Benzir Ahmed Tabriz, General Secretary Ali Rezwan Biswas Tarun, District Chhatra Dal President Syed Adnan Hossain Anu, District Swechchhasebak Dal Member Secretary Shahriar Hossain Shithil, BNP leaders Md. Shamim Hossain and Mamunur Rashid Babu, and Boalmari Upazila BNP leader Sheikh Atikul Ali, among others.

The anniversary programs generated immense enthusiasm and festive spirit among the rank and file. During the assembly, speakers highlighted the history of the party's establishment, its relentless democratic struggles, and its pioneering role in securing the rights of the citizens, while reiterating their firm resolve to further organize and strengthen the party at all levels.
