Colourful rally, discussion on National Road Safety Day in Satkhira

A colorful rally and discussion meeting was held in Satkhira to celebrate National Road Safety Day 2026 with the theme of "Safe Roads, a Prosperous Country, Bangladesh First".
The rally and discussion meeting was organized by the district administration and Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) Satkhira Circle Satkhira at the conference room of the Satkhira Deputy Commissioner on Wednesday morning.
Satkhira Deputy Commissioner Ms. Kausar Aziz spoke as the chief guest at the discussion meeting chaired by Additional District Magistrate Md. Abul Hashem.
Satkhira District Additional Superintendent of Police Shahinur Chowdhury spoke as the main speaker at the event.

Masud Ali, BRTA Satkhira High Assistant Nasir Uddin, Road Safety Committee Member and National Sports Awardee Tayeb Hasan Shamsuzzaman, Traffic Inspector Kazi Raji Uzzaman, VIP Truck Workers Union President Monirul Islam Montu, General Secretary Abdul Aziz Babu, General Secretary of District Motor Workers Union Md. Mamunar Rashid, Office Assistant of Narkeltala Workers Union Ashraf Ali, etc. Before the discussion meeting, a colorful rally was held in front of the Deputy Commissioner's office with balloons and festoons and banners, festoons and placards. The rally went around the important roads of the city and went to the conference room of the Satkhira Deputy Commissioner to meet for the discussion meeting. At that time, administrative officers, BRTA Satkhira Circle officers, representatives of bus, truck workers' union, bus and truck drivers were present. The entire program was conducted by BRTA Satkhira Motor Vehicle Inspector Omar Faruk.
