Coast Guard provides free medical services, medicines in Gazaria

The Coast Guard has distributed free medical services and necessary medicines at Gazaria in Munshiganj.

Lieutenant Commander Md. Siam-ul-Haq, Media Officer of the Coast Guard Headquarters, gave this information on Thursday noon.

Since its establishment, the Bangladesh Coast Guard has come forward to meet the various needs of the deprived people of the coastal/riverside areas. The Coast Guard has been providing free medical services to the distressed and low-income people through medical campaigns at different times. In continuation of this, today, January 30, 2025, from 10 am to 2 pm, a medical campaign was conducted at BCG Station Gazaria under the Dhaka Zone of Bangladesh Coast Guard, and a total of 544 helpless, distressed and children were provided free medical services and necessary medicines.

The s medical campaign was led by Surgeon Lt. Commander Jasmine Akhter, AMC and Surgeon Lt. Commander Ahmed Rifat Tahmid, AMC.
