Popular poet and fiction writer Kamran Chowdhury is set to release his second short story book, "Komola Roddur", at this year’s Amar Ekushey Book Fair. The book is being published by Antyamil Publications.
When asked about the book, the author shared,"This is a collection of social stories. Through its characters, the book conveys an essential moral message relevant to today's society. Additionally, it includes stories of love, rebellion, humor, and realism, which I believe will captivate readers."
Kamran Chowdhury has been deeply passionate about Bengali literature since childhood. His literary journey gained momentum in 2021 when he co-edited the poetry anthology "Kabyer Nishachar", published at the Amar Ekushey Book Fair. His notable works include the short story collection "Nithor Station" (2022) and the bestselling poetry book "Akhyayika".
Despite his relatively short literary career, Chowdhury has already received several prestigious accolades, including the National Best Short Story Award 2023, the Rabindranath Literature Award, and the Duar Prokashoni Bestseller Award 2023, among others. His contributions to literature have earned him widespread recognition within a short period.
Apart from his literary pursuits, Kamran Chowdhury is currently working as a Business Development Officer at a private educational institution.
