CAB's memorandum to Chief Advisor demands energy sector reforms

Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB) has given a memorandum to the Chief Advisor (CA) of the Interim Government on the 21 - point demands including the implementation of the proposed Bangladesh energy sector and prosecution of energy criminals in the light of this policy.
This memorandum was given to the Chief Advisor through ADC(General) Rubel Mahmud on Sunday. Kishoreganj 's CAB organized mass signature collection to the demand the implementation of Bangladesh Energy Transformation Policy-2024 and in the light of this policy, energy sector reforms and prosecution of energy criminals.
CAB, president in Kishoreganj, Alam Sarowar Tito said,' CAB continues to struggle to ensure the rights of consumers, 21 - point demands has been made by CAB to ensure transparency, Justice and accountability at all stages of electricity, and primary energy supply so that the people get the right price, size,and value of electricity and primary renewable energy services, not to be robbed.
CAB district president Alam Sarowar Tito, General Secretary Monowar Hossein Rony, Acting President advocate Maya Bhowmick, Shafiq Kabir, Mamun Miah and Veteran Freedom Fighter, Company Commonder Mahbubul Alam were also present.
