Book Festival in Madan

Jahangirpur Tahura Amin Government Pilot High School and Jahangirpur Model Government Primary School held book festival in Netrokona Madan upazila.
This year, the government will distribute a total of 30 crore 70 lakh 83 thousand 517 books to the students free of cost.
Upazila Executive Officer Md Shah Alam Mia was present as the chief guest at the book distribution festival at the Jahangirpur Tahura Amin Government Pilot High School premises on Monday morning.
Municipal Mayor Md. Saiful Islam Saif, former Municipal Mayor Dewan Modachher Hossain Shafiq, Secondary Education Officer Shafiqul Bari, Project Implementation Officer Shaukat Jamil were present as special guests.
Prior to this, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Shah Alam Mia participated in the Book Distribution Festival at Jahangirpur Model Government Primary School. It was presided over by Md. Anwar Hossain Rentu.
On the first day of the year, the students rejoiced by getting new books.
