BNP organizes colourful events in Gopalganj on Mass Uprising Day

A colorful rally and street meeting was held in Gopalganj on the occasion of the first anniversary of the July mass uprising at the initiative of the district BNP. The rally started from the city's Shishu Park square on Wednesday afternoon and circled various important roads of the city.
The rally was attended by leaders, activists and supporters of various branches and associate organizations of the party, including the District BNP, Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal, Sramik Dal. Later, Gopalganj-2 constituency MP Dr. KM Babar addressed a road meeting organized in front of Shishu Park.
He said, the July Uprising is an important chapter in the political history of the country. The path to creating a democratic environment has been paved through this movement. He prayed for the forgiveness of the souls of those killed in the movement and expressed deep condolences to their family members.
District BNP convener and district council administrator Sharif Rafiquzzaman addressed the meeting. He called on party leaders and activist.
District BNP acting member secretary Advocate Abul Khair, district BNP member Ziaul Kabir Biplob, Sadar Upazila BNP convener Advocate SM Taufiqul Islam, member secretary Fazlul Kabir Dara, former convener Sikder Shahidul Islam Lenin, and leaders of various levels of BNP and its associate organizations were present at the event.
At the end of the roadshow, the leaders and activists expressed their determination to work collectively to advance democracy, development, and public welfare activities.
