BNP holds press conference to protest joint meeting in Goalando

Upazila, municipal BNP and all affiliated organizations held a press conference to protest the joint meeting in Goalando, Rajbari
at 10 am on Tuesday at the temporary office of the Upazila BNP adjacent to the Goalanda Railway Station, organized by the Upazila, Municipal BNP and its affiliated organizations.
The written statement of the press conference was read by Upazila BNP President Md. Nizam Uddin Sheikh. He said that last Sunday afternoon, Ali Newaz Mahmud Khayyam held a joint meeting at the community center in Rokon Uddin Plaza in the municipal city. He named it the joint meeting of Goalando Upazila and Municipal BNP. Our question is whether he can hold a joint meeting with such a title?
Since they have no position, this so-called joint meeting is worthless. The meeting was held with those who were defeated in the council and those who came from the Awami League and have been inactive for 17 years, and have been busy looting since August 5. You have seen it. There is a BNP convening committee in the Rajbari district, which is approved by the center. The convener is Advocate Liaquat Ali Babu.
It is a fact that the district committee was formed through a council in the presence of all the organizational team including the divisional organizational secretary Shama Obaid, under the direction of the acting chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP. They have formed a legal committee in each upazila. All those committees have been determined through elections. Khayyam Saheb does not stay in the field all year round, does not follow any rules and regulations, whenever the election comes, he chooses the path like quicksand. Khayyam Saheb does politics from his perspective, he does not follow the discipline of the party. During 1/11, he joined the reform movement with Mannan Bhuiyan for his own interests. Later, he participated in all the elections after eating porridge. If he wants to form a party, he will have to come within the discipline.
