Bid to occupy land stopped at Army intervention in Baraigram

Illegally land occupation was stopped by the army intervention on a secret information.The construction of houses by occupying the residence was stopped due to the intervention of the army in Baraigram Upazila of Natore.
Moksed Mandal and his companions started a building on the plot purchased by Zarina Begum, wife of Abdur Rahim of Kalikapur village of the upazila, showing fear. When the army was informed about this, the army came to the spot and stopped the construction of the house last Wednesday. Shahin and his family along with his mother Zarina Begum held a press conference last Saturday to protest the attempt to occupy the residence, intimidation and death threats and to seek redress from the relevant authorities.
Shahin said, after purchasing of 4 decimal of land, RS plot no 2700 of Kalikapur Mauza in the deed No. 3760 of 1984, I have been living in a tinshed house and a few days ago I bought bricks and sand to build a brick house.
Taking advantage of the ongoing movement in the country, Moksed Mandal demolished my tinshed house and threw other materials in the nearby field, and started building houses there with our bricks and sand. When the army was informed in this situation, they came to the spot and asked the Moksed Mandal about the matter and wanted to see the documents of the land. But not getting a proper answer, the army stopped its construction work. Since then, they have been threatening and threatening to kill in various ways.
The victims held a press conference seeking redress from the concerned authorities. It is to be noted that earlier in criminal case No. 265P/22 Moksed Mandal paid a fine of five thousand taka and he defeated in argument in the civil case No. 43/22 O.P.
