Bauphal Press Club accords reception to MP Masud

Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud, Member of Parliament for Patuakhali-2 constituency and member of the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, was felicitated by Bauphal Press Club.
At a ceremony held at the Baufal Press Club auditorium on Friday.
Journalists from various levels, including the Press Club President and General Secretary, presented floral greetings and honors to Member of Parliament Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud.
Later, Member of Parliament Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud participated in a view-sharing meeting with journalists at the Press Club.
Former president of the press club Atul Chandra Paul, former vice-president Md. Delwar Hossain, vice-president Md. Mizanur Rahman and other journalists of the press club spoke at the exchange of views chaired by President of Bauphal Press Club Mohammadur Rahman and moderated by General Secretary Md. Jasim Uddin.
At the meeting, MP Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud said, "Everyone must work together for the development of agriculture, public welfare and the establishment of human rights. The media must highlight the irregularities, corruption and problems of the common people in society by presenting objective news."
He emphasized the importance of objectivity, honesty, and responsibility in the performance of journalists' professional duties.
