Arms dealer arrested in Bagha

RAB-5 has arrested one person with 1 foreign pistol, magazine and bullets from Bagha Upazila of Rajshahi by an operation on Wednesday midnight.
According to the press release of RAB-5, the operation was conducted in the area of Helalpur under Bagha police station district of Rajshahi on Wednesday midnight. At that time, 01 foreign pistol, one magazine, 02 rounds bullets along accused Md. Ratan (30).
The arrested person son of late Rekat village of Baliadanga under Charghat upazila in Rajshahi.
RAB-5 confirmed by a press release that the arrested accused admitted that he had illegal weapons and ammunition in front of witnesses present.
Later, his body was searched and illegal pistols and bullets were recovered from the trouser pants that he was wearing.
A regular case has been registered at Bagha police station in this incident.
