In Kuakata, an SSC pass student named Arafat (18) is battling death due to a brain stroke. In his eyes, there is only a yearning to live, and his family's only cry is, "You save Arafat!"
Arafat, who lives in Panjupara area of Ward No. 7 of Kuakata Municipal Council, has been bedridden for a long time due to a brain stroke due to lack of treatment. The family has lost everything to bear the medical expenses. The daily wage earner father is no longer able to meet the medical expenses despite working hard all day. Now their last hope is on the kindness of people.
Arafat's father Liton Dhali and mother Fatema said, "I have worked as a daily wage laborer all my life, but I have never been able to reach out to anyone. But today I can't. There is no other way but to reach out to people to save my son." They are three brothers in the family, and Arafat is the eldest son. Arafat graduated from Kuakata Bangabandhu Secondary School under the Barisal Education Board this year.
Unable to afford treatment, Arafat is lying in bed at his home in Panjupara without treatment. His condition is deteriorating day by day.
