Marin Sultana joins as SP in Jhalakathi

Marin Sultana has taken charge as the new Superintendent of Police of Jhalakathi district. She formally assumed charge at the Jhalakathi District Superintendent of Police office on Thursday (August 20).
When the new Superintendent of Police arrived at the office, a smart team of the district police gave him a guard of honor. Later, Additional Superintendent of Police (Admin and Finance) Mamun Al Islam greeted her with flowers. During this time, the new Superintendent of Police got acquainted with the senior officers and members of the district police and took over the responsibility of the district from Additional Superintendent of Police (Admin and Finance) Mamun Al Islam.
After assuming charge, Superintendent of Police Marin Sultana exchanged views with officers of various circles, police station officers (OCs) and in-charges of other units of the district. During this time, she listened attentively to the officers' statements and gave various important directions to make the overall activities of the district police more dynamic, people-friendly and effective.
Superintendent of Police Marin Sultana joined Bangladesh Police as Assistant Superintendent of Police through the 27th BCS Police Cadre. During her long career, she has performed professional duties with skill and reputation in various police units.
Before joining Jhalakathi, she worked as Superintendent of Police in the Anti-Terrorism Unit (ATU), Dhaka.
