Opinion exchange meeting held against drugs, robbery, immoral activities in Rahanpur

A view exchange meeting was held against drugs, robbery and various immoral activities in Rahanpur of Gomostapur upazila of Chapainawabganj.
The meeting was held at 11 am on Thursday at the premises of the Rohanpur Mango Market, organized by the people of all walks of life, including the Mango Farmers and Mango Traders Association.
Gomostapur UNO Zillur Rahman was present as the chief discussant in the meeting. Gomostapur Police Station OC Noor-e-Alam, Chapainawabganj Narcotics Control Department Deputy Director Chowdhury Imrul Hasan, Upazila Press Club President Asadullah Ahmed, Rahanpur 16 BGB Officer Kamal Hossain, Upazila LGED Officer Ashabur Rahman, Rural Development Officer Raisul Islam, Rahanpur Municipal Engineer Abdul Malek and local political and social leaders spoke at the event.
The speakers at the meeting said that to protect the youth from the menace of drugs and maintain law and order in the area, a strict stand must be taken against the spread of drugs, suppression of robbery and all kinds of immoral activities.
They also said that the administration, businessmen and local people must work together to ensure the safety of the common people while preserving the tradition and business environment of Rahanpur.
People from different classes and professions, including leaders of the Rohanpur Mango Farmers and Mango Traders Association attended.
