.Dhaka University Treasurer Prof Dr. M Jahangir Alam Chowdhury was present as the chief guest at the closing ceremony.
The closing ceremony was presided over by Dhaka University Debating Society President Zubair Hossain. DUDS Chief Moderator Professor Dr. SM Shamim Reza, Moderator Professor Amirul Salat, ActionAid Bangladesh Youth and Justice Society Lead Nazmul Ahsan and ActionAid Bangladesh Head of Finance Md. Rafiqul Islam ACA were present as special guests. DUCSU Literature and Culture Secretary Mosaddek Ali Ibne Mohammad delivered the welcome speech. Dhaka University Debating Society General Secretary Ragib Anjum conducted the program.
Treasurer Prof. Dr. M Jahangir Alam Chowdhury emphasized on debating practice to enhance students' negotiation skills and communication skills at national and international levels. He expressed hope that the various suggestions and proposals of the debate festival will play a role in formulating national plans.

24 university-level teams and 16 school-college-level teams participated in the debate festival. Dhaka University's Tahmida Maliha emerged as the champion in the Barwari debate. In the university-level debate, the delegation of Jahangirnagar University Debating Society emerged as the champion and the delegation of Rajshahi University Debating Society emerged as the runner-up. In the school-college-level debate,
BAF Shaheen College emerged as the champion and Government Science College emerged as the runner-up.
