73 out of 111 polling stations vulnerable in Gafargaon

There are 111 polling stations in Mymensingh-10 Gafargaon constituency in the 12th National Assembly elections. Out of these, 73 centers have been identified as risky by the administration. Out of 73 at risk, 33 have been declared as high risk.
According to the concerned authorities, the members of law and order forces assigned to Gafargaon police station and Pagla police station of Gafargaon upazila have made a list of high risk and high risk centers.
In this regard, Assistant Returning Officer and Gofargaon Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Shafiqul Islam said, besides increasing the number of police and Ansar members, special vigilance will be kept in high-risk and dangerous centers. The number of striking forces and mobile teams will be increased in the polling stations to ensure the safety of the voters and to avoid any untoward incidents.
