44th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Zia observed in Bauphal

The 44th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Ziauror Rahman was observed at the initiative of Bauphal Upazila BNP of Patuakhali.
The day's activities began with the hoisting of the national and party flags in front of the BNP office at around 11 am on Friday.
Later, a discussion meeting, doa milad and distribution of relief among the needy were held on the occasion of the day. Bauphal Upazila BNP Member Secretary Apel Mahmud Firoz presided over the event and Municipal Jubo Dal convener Oliul Islam moderated the event, while former Municipal BNP
General Secretary Mizanur Rahman Khokon, Sechchhasebak Dal convener Khalilur Rahman, BNP leader A. Adud and others were present. Maulana Md. Rahmatullah conducted the Doa Mahfil.
