Some 32 candidates have filed nominations in four seats in Moulvibazar. Moulvibazar-2 (Kulaura) : Candidates who submitted nomination papers are Awami League nominated candidate Shafiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel, Upazila Awami League Senior Vice President Principal AKM Sofi Ahmed Salmo who recently resigned from Upazila Chairman. Abdul Matin, Abdul Malik from Jatiya Party, Maulana Aslam Hossain Rahmani from Oikyazot, Abdul Mottakim Tamim from Bangladesh Islamic Front and Md. Kamruzzaman Simu.

In Moulvibazar-3 constituency, a total of 11 candidates, including Awami League's boat symbol candidate Mohammad Zillur Rahman, have submitted their nomination papers. Among them, independent candidate MA Rahim CIP, Jasad leader Abdul Mosabbir, Works Party Tapas Kumar Ghosh, Jatiya Party's two leaders Ruhul Amin, Altafur Rahman, Zaker Party's Abdul Qayyum, Islamic Front's Abdur Rauf, independent candidate Sadikur Rahman, NPP's Md. Abu Bakr and Bangladesh Cultural Muktizot Md. Fahad Alam All of them submitted their nominations to the district and upazila returning officer's office today.

The nominees for Moulvibazar-4 (Srimangal-Kamalganj) constituencies are - Awami League's nominated candidate, Vice-Principal Dr. Md. Abdus Shahid MP, Jatiya Party nominated candidate Md Mostan Mia, independent candidate Awami League leader Bir Muktijoddha Nazrul Islam, Bangladesh Islamic Front nominated candidate Maulana Md Abdul Mohit Hassani and Islami Oikyazot nominated candidate Md Anwar Hossain.

Candidates submitted nominations to Moulvibazar Deputy Commissioner and District Returning Officer Dr. Urmi Binte Salam on Thursday.
