German Ambassador calls on DU VC

German Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr. Rüdiger Lotz paid a courtesy call on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam at the Vice-Chancellor's office on Wednesday.
During the meeting, they discussed further strengthening mutual cooperation between Dhaka University and various universities and institutions in Germany, including education, research, student and faculty exchange, scholarships, and skill development.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam highlighted various aspects of education and research at Dhaka University and said that new opportunities are being created for students and researchers by expanding cooperation with international universities.

He highlighted the opportunities for higher education and research for Bangladeshi students in Germany, scholarships, and various possibilities for increasing cooperation between higher education institutions of the two countries.
Various issues related to education and research cooperation, scholarship programs, skill development, industry-education cooperation, and future joint initiatives between Bangladesh and Germany were also discussed.
Both sides expressed their hope to further strengthen mutual communication and cooperation between Dhaka University and relevant universities and institutions in Germany.
