Pirojpur Civil Surgeon's press briefing on typhoid vaccination campaign

Pirojpur Civil Surgeon Dr Md Motiur Rahman met at a press conference with journalists and television journalists of various national newspapers on Wednesday at the Meeting Room of Pirojpur Civil Surgeon.
Survilance and Immunization Medical Officer Dr.Sazia Nawshin, Pirojpur Sadar Medical Officer Dr Anindita Karmakar, BRAC District Coordinator Md. Hasibul Islam, BRAC Health Program Manager Sanjay Majumdar were present.
At that time, the civil surgeon said in his speech that free 1 dose typhoid vaccine will be provided to all children under the age of 6 months to 6 and all students from pre-primary to ninth.
The program will be operated in the school-madrasa, health care center, upazila parishad premises and municipalities from October 12 to November 7-22 to 8 November.
The vaccine will be provided through registration with the birth registration of the students of the school, madrasa.
Responding to a question from journalists, the civil surgeon said that those who do not have birth registration can register with parents' voter ID. Civil Surgeon Dr Md. Matiur Rahman urged all journalists to cooperate in campaigning on the typhoid immunization program
