
Food processing training by BRAC Microfinance Pragati Program inaugurated in Rangamati

A three-day food processing training for women entrepreneurs was inaugurated in Rangamati under the initiative of the non-governmental development organization BRAC Microfinance Pragati Program.on Wednesday.
BRAC Microfinance Senior Program Manager Safatur Rahman, Regional Manager Abdul Ahad, BRAC District Coordinator Habibur Rahman and Area Manager Supriyo Barua were present as guests at the Uttar Kalindipur BRAC office in Rangamati city on Wednesday afternoon.
BRAC Microfinance handed over a food processing machine to the "Sabangi" network, an organization of women entrepreneurs, to prepare and market chips and fish chips made from mango, banana, pineapple, jackfruit, etc. produced in Rangamati.
They expressed their opinion that by getting the machine, they will move further on the path to becoming successful entrepreneurs by marketing quality processed food.
