Two clinics fined in Shibganj

A mobile court has been conducted in two clinics in Mokamtala, Shibganj, Bogura and a fine of 1 lakh 15 thousand taka has been imposed on Monday noon.
Shibganj UNO Ziaur Rahman conducted the operation at Saleha Diagnostic Center and Health Care Diagnostic Center in Mokamtala Bazar of the upazila.
Shibganj UNO and Mobile Court Executive Magistrate Ziaur Rahman said, Saleha Diagnostic Center was fined Tk 5,000 for the offense under Section 8 of the Private Clinics and Laboratories (Control) Ordinance-1982 and Tk 1,000,000 under Section 53 of the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009, for a total of Tk 1,05,000, and the Healthcare Diagnostic Center was fined Tk 10,000 under Section 53 of the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009.
