To expand opportunities for international higher education and global career development for millions of students enrolled in affiliated colleges across Bangladesh, the National University and IDP Education Bangladesh have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The signing ceremony was held on Monday at the headquarters of IDP Education Bangladesh in Gulshan, Dhaka. On behalf of the National University, the MoU was signed by Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. A.S.M. Amanullah, while Rajib Mahbubul, Country Director of IDP Education Bangladesh, signed on behalf of the organization.
Representing the National University at the event were Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Mohammad Ali Jinnah, Director of the International Desk Raj Bin Kashem, Communication Expert Goutam Barua, Coordinator of the Multi-Language Learning Institute Md. Saiful Islam Shaheen, and Chairman of the Faculty of Business Studies Sheikh Mujahidul Islam.

Representing IDP Education Bangladesh were Elora Shahab Sharmi, Head of IELTS Operations; Mostafizur Rahman, Senior Director for South Asia at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission; Momenur Rahman Moin, Strategic Alliance Manager; Mohammad Shihab Talukder, Head of Marketing; Anwar Hossain, Head of Sales and Operations; along with other senior officials.

Under the terms of the MoU, students of the National University will receive comprehensive support regarding admission to internationally renowned universities, scholarship opportunities, professional guidance.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. A.S.M. Amanullah said.,this Memorandum of Understanding is a timely initiative to equip our students with the skills needed to compete globally and to expand their employment opportunities.
