Mukter Hossain, Godagari (Rajshahi)

The monthly coordination meeting for teachers and caretakers of the Islamic Foundation’s Mosque-Based Child and Mass Education Program (8th Phase) was held on Tuesday morning at the auditorium of the Godagari Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center.

UNO Israt Jahan presided over the meeting, which featured Major General (Retd.) Sharif Uddin, Chairman of Northern Electricity Supply PLC (NESCO), as the chief guest.

Special guests included Godagari Model Police Station OC Sujan Mia and Moslem Uddin Nurul, the project's field supervisor for Godagari. Model caretakers Ataur Rahman, GC Shariful Islam, and Tarikul Islam were also present, among others.

In his address as the chief guest, NESCO Chairman Maj. Gen(Retd.) Sharif Uddin said, "The mosque-based child and mass education program plays an extremely vital role in expanding moral, religious, and pre-primary education for children. By spreading the true knowledge of Islam among tender-hearted children and eradicating illiteracy from society, teachers serve as the true architects of nation-building."

He urged teachers and caretakers to work with greater dedication and responsibility to maintain high educational standards and inspire children with both modern and moral education to face the challenges of the modern era.

UNO Israt Jahan provided necessary guidelines to field-level teachers and relevant officials regarding overall project progress and the enhancement of educational quality.
