
Natore Jamaat holds protest march demanding realisation of 5-point demands

District Jamaat-e-Islami held a protest march and rally in Natore demanding implementation of 5-point demands as part of the central program on Friday morning.
At around 10 am, at the pre-procession rally organized by the district Jamaat at the city's Madrasa intersection, the district Jamaat's assistant secretary Atiqul Islam Russel presided over the rally.
District Jamaat Ameer Prof Dr. Mir Nurul Islam spoke as the chief guest. Other speakers included Central Majlish-e-Shura member and district Jamaat's Ameer Professor Dr. Mir Nurul Islam, district Nayebe Ameer and Jamaat-nominated MP candidate for Natore Sadar constituency Professor Md. Yunus Ali, district Nayebe Ameer Principal Delwar Hossain Khan, district secretary Professor Sadequr Rahman, district assistant secretary and Jamaat-nominated MP candidate for (Boraigram - Gurudaspur 4) constituency Professor Maulana Abdul Hakim, district workers' welfare federation president Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Sadar Upazila Ameer Professor Mir Nurun Nabi, and city Ameer Rashedul Islam.
The speakers said, "After the July Uprising, I can see that a party has become desperate to call an election an election. They do not even mention the trial of those whose blood we gained this freedom in exchange for. Their trial is visible, the July Charter is implemented, and there will be no elections in the country until elections and reforms are carried out through the PR system."
The protest march passed through Uttara Supermarket and ended at Madrasa intersection.
