Vocational teachers' divisional exchange meeting held in Barishal

A divisional exchange meeting was held in Barishal to improve the quality of technical education and solve various problems including the working environment of SSC vocational teachers. 
 
The meeting was organized by the Bangladesh Teachers' Association Vocational at the Institution of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh (IDEB) Barisal District Office on Friday afternoon.
 
Engineer Mahfuzul Alam Mithu, Convener, IDEB Barisal, was the chief guest at the meeting. The keynote speaker was Engineer Sajedul Alam, President, Bangladesh Teachers' Association Vocational (Central Committee).Engineer Shahin Mia, General Secretary, Bangladesh Teachers Association Vocational (Central), Engineer Moniruzzaman Haque, Organizing Secretary, Central Committee and Engineer Shahjalal, Finance Secretary, Bangladesh Teachers Association Vocational were present as special guests.
 
The meeting was presided over by Engineer ADM Nurul Huda Siddiqui, Senior Vice President, Bangladesh Teachers Association Vocational (Central).
 
The speakers in the discussion said that vocational education is the main tool for creating skilled human resources. But due to lack of promotion, facilities and incentives for teachers, this sector is not getting the desired progress. If the demands of teachers are implemented and the quality of education improves, technical education can make a more effective contribution to the economic development of the country. Teachers coming from different districts of Barisal division presented their views in the meeting and expressed their determination to work together for the spread of education.
