
Patro increased by Army in Moulvibazar for Durga Puja

In preparation for the upcoming Durga Puja, the Bangladesh Army has intensified its patrol in Moulvibazar district, covering the district headquarters and all seven upazilas. Starting from the morning of Thursday, September 25, soldiers from the Moulvibazar camp began formal patrols, visiting several puja mandaps in the city as well as those located outside the city.
The Army has stated that in anticipation of Durga Puja 2025, special security measures have been implemented to ensure the safety and maintain peace throughout the festivities. Under the 17th Infantry Division, the 15th Field Regiment Artillery has taken responsibility for providing these security measures.
Following this, patrol operations led by the commander of the 15th Field Regiment have been increased across all upazilas of the district. In coordination with the local administration and law enforcement agencies, the Army has begun joint efforts to maintain law and order during the Durga Puja celebrations.
