Memorial meeting held for late journalist Rafiq Biswas in Kalapara

A memorial meeting was held at Kalapara Press Club in Patuakhali on the occasion of the death anniversary of veteran journalist Rafiq Biswas. The memorial meeting was organized by the Press Club at the Engineer Md. Touhidur Rahman Auditorium on Wednesday night.
The meeting, chaired by Press Club President Nesar Uddin Ahmed Tipu and moderated by Editor Amal Mukherjee, included speeches by former Press Club President Md. Humayun Kabir, Mejbah Uddin Mannu, former Editor SM Mosharraf Hossain Mintu, journalists Enamul Haque, Gofaran Palash, Milan Karmakar Raju, Jasim Parvez, and others.
During the meeting, the speakers discussed various memories of the working life of the late journalist Rafiq Biswas. At the end of the meeting, a prayer was held for the peace of the departed soul.
Earlier, a minute's silence was observed in respect of the deceased. Members of the Press Club participated in it.
Incidentally, journalist Rafiq Biswas died of old age in 2019. He was approximately 80 years old at the time of his death.
