The Comilla Education Board has changed the results of 331 students in the 2024 HSC examination results review. Of these, 93 people passed from failure and 36 got a new GPA-5. The results of 202 people in other grades have been changed.

The results of this revaluation were published on the website of Secondary and Higher Secondary Cumilla on Thursday afternoon, November 14, according to education board sources.

According to education board sources, the results of HSC-2024 were published on October 15. Applications for result re-examination were accepted from October 16 to October 22. 21,614 candidates applied for re-examination. A total of 58,826 answer sheets of these candidates have been reviewed.

Cumilla Education Board Examination Controller Dr. Asaduzzaman said that the board has accepted the applications and re-examined the examination books as per the rules. We have published the results of the re-examination of the 2024 results on the website. This year, the pass rate in the Cumilla Education Board was 71.15 percent, which is lower than the last two years. Girls are ahead of boys in the results.

One lakh 12 thousand 312 candidates from the Cumilla Education Board participated in the 2024 HSC examination. 79 thousand 905 candidates passed in all subjects, which is 71.15 percent of the total result. 7 thousand 922 candidates got GPA-5 in this examination, which is 7.054 percent of the total result. In 2023, the pass rate in this board was 75.39 percent. 5,655 students got GPA-5. In addition, the pass rate in 2022 was 90.72 percent. GPA-5 was 14,991. This year, 46,941 male and 63,639 female students participated in the exam.

This time, 32,558 out of 48,065 male students passed and 47,347 out of 64,247 female students passed. 2,968 male students and 4,954 female students got GPA-5. In the meantime, after the results were published, students protested in front of the Cumilla School Education Board building demanding that the results be changed and auto-passed.
