Coast Guard operation : 3 terrorists arrested with firearms, hand grenades, indigenous weapons in Bhola

Coast Guard detained three notorious and violent terrorists with one firearm, 10 hand grenades and four indigenous weapons in Bhola.
On Friday noon, Coast Guard Headquarters media officer Lt. Commander Khandaker Munif Taqi gave this information.
The Bangladesh Coast Guard is working successfully in suppressing terrorist activities in coastal areas along with maintaining law and order in the country. In continuation of this, a special operation was conducted in No. 01 Madanpur Union under Daulatkhan Upazila of Bhola district by BCG Base Bhola under Bangladesh Coast Guard South Zone from 0120 hours to 0500 hours on Friday, November 15, 2024.
In the operation, 03 violent terrorists Mafiz Mal (36), Md Mamun Mal (22) and Md Shamim Mal (19) were arrested from the said area along with 01 firearm, 10 hand grenades and 04 indigenous weapons (04 ramadas). The arrested terrorists had been conducting various types of crimes for a long time by extortion, land grabbing and intimidation.
Later, the arrested terrorists and all seized evidence were handed over to Bhola Sadar Model Police Station.
