Hezbut Tawheed holds press confce in Faridpur protesting misinformation, threats

Faridpur District Unit of Hezbut Tawheed organized a press conference on Tuesday morning at the late Shamsuddin Mollah Auditorium of the Faridpur Press Club to protest alleged misinformation, fatwas, and threats by Hefazat-e-Islam, while demanding security for the lives and properties of its members.
Md. Rezaul Karim, president of the Faridpur district branch of Hezbut Tawheed, read out the written statement during the press conference.
Other attendees included Mokhlesur Rahman Suman, central committee student welfare secretary of Hezbut Tawheed, and Md. Jihad Molla, general secretary of the Faridpur district branch, alongside members of the Faridpur Press Club and journalists from various print and electronic media outlets.
Speakers at the press conference alleged that during a rally organized by Hefazat-e-Islam at the Noakhali District School ground on August 1, provocative and false propaganda was spread against Hezbut Tawheed, accompanied by undemocratic and aggressive statements targeting the organization's imam and members.
