Soft Skill Training Program for marginalized professionals begins in Bandarban

A 10-day professional soft skill training program has commenced in Bandarban with the aim of enhancing the skills and improving the living standards of marginalized professional communities. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Marufa Sultana Khan Hira Moni inaugurated the training program on Tuesday (August 25) at the Bandarban Sadar Upazila Social Services Office.
The training has been organized by the Upazila Social Services Office under the project titled "Standard of Living Improvement of Marginalized Professional Communities of Bangladesh (2nd Phase)." The curriculum focuses on building professional competence, communication, leadership, time management, customer service, and entrepreneurial skills among participants. According to the Department of Social Services, the project aims to train 12,000 marginalized professionals across 150 upazilas and municipalities in 57 districts of the country.
Speakers at the inaugural ceremony noted that marginalized professionals form an integral part of the nation's economy, heritage, and culture.
The opening event was attended by Noakhali District Social Services Office Deputy Director and Master Trainer TOT Jet M. Mizanur Rahman Khan, Bandarban District Social Services Office Deputy Director Milton Muhuri, Social Services Officer Satyajit Majumdar, and the participating trainees.
