Nandail (Mymensingh) Correspondent 

Mr. Faisal Ahmed, an emerging and efficient officer of the BCS (Administration) cadre, has officially taken charge as the new Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Nandail Upazila in Mymensingh. Following his joining, a renewed wave of dynamism has begun within the upazila administration and local circles. 

Prior to joining Nandail, Mr. Faisal Ahmed served with great success as the UNO of Haluaghat Upazila  in Mymensingh. During his tenure in Haluaghat, he won the hearts of the common people through his people-friendly activities, administrative efficiency, integrity, and various public welfare initiatives. His role in curbing drugs and crime, improving the quality of education, preventing child marriage, and developing rural infrastructure received widespread local acclaim. He has earned a reputation as a successful administrator due to his extensive field administration experience and farsightedness in crisis resolution.

Nandail is a traditional and populous upazila. Upon joining the upazila, local government officials, public representatives, political figures, teachers, journalists, and representatives of civil society welcomed him with flowers and a warm reception.

In his post-joining reaction, new UNO, Mr. Faisal Ahmed, said,  he is firmly committed to delivering the government's development activities and public services right to the doorstep of the general public. For the overall development of Nandail Upazila, strengthening the law and order situation, ensuring transparency and accountability in service-oriented institutions, and improving the standard of living for the people, he sought the sincere cooperation of all, transcending political and partisan affiliations.
