BAUET secures 3nd position in National Tree Plantation Award

Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET), Qadirabad Cantonment, Natore, has secured second place among all educational institutions in the country in Category ‘Ka’ of the National Tree Plantation Award-2025, awarded by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
At a ceremony held on Sunday at the Haimanti Conference Centre of the Forest Department, the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of BAUET, Brigadier General S M Lutfor Rahman, received the award from the Hon’ble Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Abdul Awal Mintoo.
According to the BAUET authorities, the university received this prestigious award in recognition of its extensive tree plantation and maintenance initiatives across the campus for environmental conservation and creating a greener environment. This achievement is an important recognition of the institution’s commitment to environmentally friendly and sustainable initiatives.
