Qadirabad Cantonment, Natore, Bangladesh – March 26, 2025 – Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET) resonated with patriotic zeal as it commemorated the Great Independence and National Day on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. The campus was graced by the presence of the Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Brigadier General Md. Mizanuzzaman, who served as the chief guest for the occasion.

The day commenced at the break of dawn with the solemn hoisting of the national flag and the university flag at the administrative building premises, accompanied by the resonating strains of the national anthem. Brigadier General Md. Mizanuzzaman hoisted the national flag, while Treasurer Colonel Md. Shawkat Hossain, psc (Retd.) unfurled the university flag, followed by a respectful salute.

The ceremony was attended by esteemed members of the university community, including Registrar Lt. Colonel K.F.A. Sohel (Retd.), Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam, Proctor, Student Welfare Adviser, Provosts, Heads of Departments, Deputy Registrar, faculty members, and officials.

In a gesture of remembrance and prayer, a special Dua and Munajat were organized at BAUET's central mosque after Zuhr and Maghrib prayers. Attendees sought peace, prosperity, and progress for the nation, paid homage to the martyrs of the Liberation War, and prayed for the continued success and solidarity of the armed forces.
