
CoU declares 9-day holiday for Durga Puja

Comilla University will remain closed for nine days on the occasion of Durga Puja, the major religious festival of the Hindu community. The announcement was confirmed on Thursday by the university’s Registrar (Additional Charge), Prof Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain.
According to the registrar’s office, the university will officially remain closed from September 28 to October 2 for Durga Puja. However, with the inclusion of weekly holidays on September 26–27 and October 3–4 (Fridays and Saturdays), the total closure will extend to nine consecutive days.
“All academic and administrative activities of the university will remain suspended from September 28 to October 4, as per the university calendar. Regular classes and activities will resume on October 5,” said Prof Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain.
