Ansar-VDP conducts disaster response drill in Manikganj

A practical training session and disaster management simulation was conducted at the Manikganj Ansar and VDP Technical Training Centre on Sunday to enhance emergency response capabilities during natural disasters, including fires and earthquakes.
The exercise involved active participation from Ansar Battalion members alongside vocational trainees enrolled in masonry, shuttering carpentry, steel fixing, and 6G welding courses at the facility.
Instructors from the Manikganj Fire Service and Civil Defence led the session, imparting practical guidelines on fire suppression techniques, fire safety equipment operation, earthquake safety protocols, and field trauma care.
The District Commandant of Manikganj Ansar and VDP inspected the practical exercises as chief guest, emphasizing the critical role of organizational discipline, swift decision-making, and inter-agency coordination during crisis situations. Battalion officers and administrative staff were present during the operational demonstrations.
