We don't want to drive away Indian dominance only to fall victim to dominance of America : Secretary General of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam

The Secretary General of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Bangladesh, Maulana Manjurul Islam Afendi, said, “Our statement is clear: we do not want to drive away Indian dominance only to fall victim to the dominance of America, Washington.”
He said this on Saturday noon while addressing as the chief guest at the workers’ meeting of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Bangladesh, Faridpur district branch, held at the Faridpur Shishu Academy hall room.
He further said, “The soil of Bangladesh is the soil of Muslims, the soil of Bangladesh is the soil of saints and spiritual leaders (Pir Auliyas). Just as we are defeating fascism on this soil, in the same way, all evil forces will be defeated.”
The workers’ meeting was presided over by the President of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Bangladesh, Faridpur district branch, and Member of Parliament candidate from Faridpur-3 constituency, Mufti Kamruzzaman.
Special guests addressing the meeting included Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Bangladesh Vice President Najmul Hasan Kasemi, Finance Secretary Mufti Zakir Hossain Kasemi.
Also addressing the workers’ meeting were Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Bangladesh’s Organizing Secretary Maulana Lokman Hossain Mazhari.
