A human chain was organized by the Islami Bank Consumer Forum, Magura, demanding the immediate dismissal of nearly 10,000 officers/employees illegally recruited from the Patiya area of Chittagong from 2017 to 2024.
The appointment of talented and qualified officers from all over the country through a transparent recruitment process free of discrimination, the release of S Alam from the bank, the return of the laundered money, and the arrest and exemplary punishment of bank robber S Alam and his associates.
The human chain was held in front of the Magura Press Club at 11 am on Monday.
The human chain was chaired by Md. Rabiul Islam, convener of the Islami Bank Customer Forum, Magura and an investment customer of the bank. The forum's joint convener Ibrahim Biswas, member secretary Faruk Hossain, Adv. Mazharul Islam, Mr. Pranoy Kumar, Sakhawat Hossain, and others spoke at the human chain.
In addition, Safuan Afif Shawon, Azizur Rahman and Mahadi Bin Kamal spoke on behalf of the Discrimination-Free Job Seekers Council.
