Low-lying areas of Khagrachari were flooded after three hours of continuous rain at midnight.

Low-lying areas were submerged after a three-hour cloudburst incident on Friday midnight.

Local residents in Sadar Upazila and municipal areas of Khagrachari have been suffering from sudden waterlogging due to heavy rain for three hours at midnight. Deputy Commissioner Anwar Sadat rushed to the spot to inspect the situation. He inquired about the common people suffering from the waterlogging. He also provided them with shelter and immediate food and relief supplies.

Meanwhile, the low-lying areas of Kabakhali, Boalkhali and Merung areas of Dighinala Upazila of the district have been flooded.
