Today, September 1st, the 48th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) is being celebrated in Kabirhat, Noakhali, marking the movement, struggle and success of the party.

Alhaj Fakhrul Islam, MP of Noakhali 5 constituency, Kabirhat and Companiganj upazila, was present at the founding anniversary discussion meeting and rally. In his speech, he said that in the next local government elections, those leaders who cannot stop drugs, illegal land cutting, bear extraction, sale, and overloaded bear vehicles on the roads in their area will not be considered for nomination.

The MP said that the nomination candidates will be selected from the grassroots level leaders in coordination with the district and upazila leaders. I will not select any candidate on a single decision.
