Bagerhat Chhatra Shibir accords reception to meritorious students

Bagerhat District Unit of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir organized a reception and career guideline program for students who achieved GPA-5.00 (A+) in the recent SSC, Dakhil, and equivalent examinations.
Held on Saturday noon, the event was presided over by Ahmed Abdullah, President of the Bagerhat District unit of Islami Chhatra Shibir. Sibgatullah Sibgah, Central Secretary General of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, attended the ceremony as the chief guest.
Sheikh Manjurul Haque Rahad, Member of Parliament for Bagerhat-2, and Principal Maulana Mashiur Rahman Khan, Member of Parliament for Bagerhat-1, addressed the gathering as special guests.
Former Shibir leader Advocate Sheikh A. Wadud, Nayeb-e-Ameer of Bagerhat District Jamaat-e-Islami; Yusuf Islami, Central College Activities Secretary of Shibir; Riazul Islam, Vice President of JOCSU; and Sheikh Md. Abu Sayeed Shunu, President of Bagerhat Press Club, were also present, along with local Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatrashibir leaders.
Over 500 GPA-5 scoring students from across nine upazilas of the district were honored during the ceremony. The guests presented felicitations and career guidance to the students in the presence of their guardians and teachers.
