Two college students killed under truck wheels in Godagari

Two college students riding a motorcycle were killed after being struck and crushed beneath the wheels of two successive trucks on the Rajshahi-Chapainawabganj highway in Godagari upazila, Rajshahi, on Monday.
The tragic accident occurred around 2:00 PM today at the Kashimpur curve area along the highway. Police confirmed that both victims died on the spot.
The deceased students were identified as Ahsan Ahmed Hasib (20), son of Abdul Hamid Army, and Sabbir Ahmed (20), son of Enamul Haque, both residents of Baliaghata village in Godagari upazila. They were both first-year honors students at Chapainawabganj Government College.
According to police and local sources, Hasib and Sabbir were traveling on a motorcycle along the Rajshahi-Chapainawabganj highway at noon. When they reached the Kashimpur curve, a speeding truck hit their motorcycle from behind, throwing them onto the highway. Immediately afterwards, another truck ran over them. Caught between the two trucks, the two youths were crushed under the wheels and died instantly at the scene.
Godagari Model Police Station OC Sujan Miah confirmed the incident, stating that the accident took place at the Kashimpur curve around noon after a truck hit the motorcycle from behind and another truck ran them over before fleeing. Upon receiving the news, police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.
