Phensedyl dealer arrested posing as customer

Narcotics Control Department has arrested a drug dealer posing as a buyer in Companiganj, Noakhali. Fifteen bottles of Phensedyl and a mobile phone were seized from him.
District Narcotics Control Department Inspector Md. Saiful Islam confirmed the matter on Saturday ( morning. The accused was sent to jail through the judicial court on Friday afternoon.
The arrested Md. Jahedul Islam alias Sarwar (45) is the son of ATM Mazaharul Islam of Islam Cottage in Bora Rajapur village, Ward No. 1 of Basurhat Municipality in the upazila.
It is learnt that the arrested person is a well-known Phensedyl dealer from Sarwar area. He has been leading the youth towards destruction by trading Phensedyl and Yaba in Companiganj for a long time. On Thursday night, around 8:30 pm, officers of the Narcotics Control Department, posing as a buyer, arrested him in Bara Rajapur village.
Saiful Islam, inspector of the Noakhali District Narcotics Control Department, said that he was arrested posing as a buyer. A case has been registered under the Narcotics Control Act at the Companyganj Police Station in this incident. Another case under the Narcotics Control Act is pending against him.
