With the theme "Safe roads, prosperous country, Bangladesh first," the National Road Safety Day-2026 was observed in Chuadanga through various programs on Wednesday.

Jointly organized by BRTA Chuadanga Circle and the "Niropad Sarak Chai (NISCHA) Chuadanga District Branch," a colorful road show and awareness campaign were held to mark the day. People from all walks of life enthusiastically participated in the program, which began around 10:00 AM at the city's Shaheed Hasan Chattar.
During the event, participants displayed various festive banners, placards, and festoons featuring traffic laws and safety awareness messages. Later, a road show started from Hasan Chattar, paraded through Kobori Road, and concluded at the Deputy Commissioner's office. During the rally, the Chuadanga Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate personally distributed awareness leaflets among drivers. Following the rally, a discussion meeting was held in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner.

Speakers at the discussion meeting emphasized that to prevent road accidents, drivers, passengers, and pedestrians must all become aware. They noted that accidents can be reduced significantly by abiding by traffic rules, following speed limits, and maintaining discipline on the roads.
