80 female workers recruited thru' lottery in Baliadangi LGED project

80 female workers have been appointed through a lottery in the Rural Road Maintenance and Employment Project under the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) in Baliadangi Upazila of Thakurgaon.
A total of 80 women workers, 10 each from each union of Baliadangi Upazila, were selected through a lottery. This project will create employment opportunities for local women in addition to rural road maintenance.
In this regard, Baliadangi Upazila Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) Office Head and Upazila Engineer Md. Masudul Alam said, "Women workers have been selected through a lottery under the Rural Road Maintenance and Employment Project. This project will create employment opportunities for local women along with rural road maintenance."
It is expected that the implementation of the project will further accelerate the development of rural communication systems and road maintenance activities.
