Huge rally Araihazar on 48th founding anniv of BNP

A huge public rally was held in Araihazar, Narayanganj, on the 48th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP on Tuesday afternoon. Led by Narayanganj-2 (Araihazar) MP Nazrul Islam Azad, leaders of ten unions and two municipalities of the upazila participated in the rally.
The leaders and activists participating in the rally chanted various slogans in the names of BNP founder martyr President Ziaur Rahman, late Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, current Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, and current MP Nazrul Islam Azad of Narayanganj-2 (Araihazar) constituency. The processions circled every road in Araihazar Municipality. It is noteworthy that in the upcoming local government elections, candidates for the positions of chairman and mayor of 10 unions and two municipalities in 2,500 upazilas and their respective followers participated in the rally along with processions.
