Half Hill Marathon Competition held for second time in Bandarban

The Half Hill Marathon competition was held for the second time in the beautiful natural environment of Bandarban . A total of 490 runners, including men, women, children and the elderly, participated in this competition on the colorful morning of Bandarban , surrounded by mountains and natural beauty.
Basically, the Half Hill Marathon competition Season 2 was held in the hilly district of Bandarban to showcase the beauty and diversity of the mountains to the world. Starting from the local Rajar Math in Bandarban town early on Saturday.
The competition ran along the high and low, winding hilly paths of Chimbuk Road. Organized by Hills Runner, 490 runners from different districts of the country participated in the marathon competition held in three categories of 21 kilometers, 10 kilometers and Better Run. Among them, there are 65 women runners.
The marathon competition, which started at 6 am from the local Rajar Math, ended at 10 am. Meanwhile, runners are excited to take part in this exciting marathon on the winding, high and low mountain roads.
Shahidul Islam Sohel, Convener of the organizing committee of Bandarban Hill Half Marathon Season-2, said that this half hill marathon was organized to showcase the natural beauty of Bandarban at home and abroad and to make the local young generation sports-oriented.
Meanwhile, the presence of women and children among the participants was significant. At the end of the race, prizes were distributed among the winners and certificates were handed over to the participants by the guests. The organizers hope that this event in Bandarban is gradually becoming an annual festival .
