GUST VC's paper presented at international conference at SUST

Gopalganj University of Science and Technology (GUST) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Hossain Uddin Shekhar presented the keynote address at the two-day international conference “International Conference on Life Sciences (ICLS 2025)” organized by Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST).
He presented a paper titled "Transforming Biomedical Research through Bioinformatics and Artificial Intelligence" at the opening session of the conference held at the central auditorium of Shabiprabir on Saturday morning.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Hossain Uddin Shekhar, in his article, highlighted how Bioinformatics and Artificial Intelligence are revolutionizing biomedical research. He explained how data generated in laboratories can be verified and analyzed using these two modern technologies.
During this time, he explained the practical application of bioinformatics by citing an example of his research published in the internationally renowned scientific journal Heliyon. At the end of the presentation, he was presented with a crest of honor by the organizers.
The international conference organized by the Faculty of Biology of Shabiprabi was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof Dr. A. M. Sarwaruddin Chowdhury. Researchers, teachers and students from various universities and research institutions of the country participated.
